Francisco Rosario constructs a simple table top press with scraps of wood and other inexpensive materials. The press will spring into action when completed, making a woodblock print.
In his early career Francisco worked as a photographer for the Cooper Hewett National Design Museum in New York and at the Associated Press as a freelancer. His work in printmaking involves translating his photographic portraits into woodblock prints. He is currently the Digital Printing Associate and Woodshop Associate at Pyramid Atlantic.
