Brian Dunn will demonstrate relief printing, one of the oldest and most often utilized disciplines in printmaking. Each subsequent generation of artists and printmakers re-purposes the medium and re-strikes ideas from previous ones. This demo will focus on reliable printing methods for fabric and paper as well as the importance of found materials for printing and matrix creation. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own personal garments for printing upon (no zips, snaps or buttons as they present printing problems and could damage the upper drum).
Brian Dunn was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in the NJ suburbs.
